We order take out from Ye’s Cafe regularly and it’s always fresh, hot and delicious! It’s one of the best Chinese food restaurants we’ve tried including the restaurants in China town when we lived in San Francisco. I appreciate Ye’s Cafe using fresh ingredients and being consistently delicious!
Ye's is hands down the best place for Chinese takeout. I've been to most of the Chinese food places between Lafayette and Houston, and I always return to my absolute favorite! Thank you for your consistency and for bringing the spice when asked for. You have a fan for life!
The absolute best Chinese food I've ever had! (And I'm retired!) The fried egg rolls and rangoon do not taste like some other restaurants who use low quality or over-used oil. The brown sauce on my chicken with vegetables was savory without being salty. And the sweet and sour shrimp and chicken - the sauce wasn't gelatinous and not sickeningly sweet. It had a very pleasant, subtle fruit flavor. The portion sizes are perfect- each entree is large enough for 2 meals. In today's economy that is a big factor. The chicken wings are HUGE and definitely worth trying. They are almost as large as turkey wings - not scrawny meatless bones at all. A 10 out of 10!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! Food is great every time and the portions are a good size. The young man at the check out counter is so nice and has even helped me get my food to my vehicle because I had my baby with me. We will definitely continue to give our business here and recommend!
